TradeMalta recently marked the successful completion of the Internationalisation Strategy Masterclass 2026 with a certificate presentation ceremony recognising the achievements of participating business representatives who completed the programme.
The event brought together participants, partners and stakeholders to mark the conclusion of the intensive ten-week programme, designed to equip businesses with the practical tools, strategic knowledge and international market insights needed to successfully pursue growth opportunities beyond Malta. Delivered in collaboration with the Malta University Services and supported by TradeMalta’s strategic partner, HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c., the Masterclass continues to play a key role in strengthening the international competitiveness of Maltese enterprises.
Addressing attendees during the ceremony, TradeMalta Chief Executive Officer Tania Brown congratulated participants on their commitment and dedication throughout the programme.
“International growth has become an increasingly important strategic objective for businesses seeking long-term sustainability and competitiveness. Through the Internationalisation Strategy Masterclass, TradeMalta continues to empower businesses in building the knowledge, skills and strategic mindset needed to compete successfully in global markets. It has been a pleasure to see the enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by this year’s participants, and we look forward to supporting them as they continue their internationalisation journey.”
A highlight of the evening was an engaging panel discussion, successfully moderated by Joe Schembri, who has been coordinating this Masterclass for many years, featuring Roland Scerri – Loqus, Maxine Micallef – MCAST, Deon Vosloo – Foster Clarks who shared their first-hand experiences of expanding into international markets, together with Bernard Grima representing HSBC Bank Malta. The discussion provided valuable insights into the opportunities and challenges of exporting, while highlighting the importance of resilience, strategic planning, and strong partnerships in achieving sustainable international growth.
The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to participants, followed by a networking reception supported by HSBC Bank Malta, providing an opportunity for participants and stakeholders to continue exchanging ideas, strengthen professional connections and celebrate the successful completion of the programme.
