Job Overview:
TradeMalta is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Grants/Incentives Senior Executive to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in guiding and advising companies on the application process for various grants and incentives.
Additionally, the Senior Executive will assist companies with their expense claims, ensuring compliance and proper documentation. This position requires excellent communication and strong administrative skills, a strong understanding of grant procedures, and a commitment to helping Malta-based businesses achieve their internationalization goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support and Guidance:
Provide comprehensive advice to businesses on suitable grants and incentives.
Assist clients in understanding eligibility criteria and application requirements.
Facilitate and organise meetings and seminars to educate companies about available grants and how to apply.
Application and Claim Assistance:
- Support companies throughout the grant application/claim process, from initial consultation to submission.
- Review and provide feedback on grant applications/claims to ensure completeness and compliance with guidelines and timely submissions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information for applications and claims.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of applications, claims and communications with companies.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of grant applications/claims and
outcomes. - Assist in the development of documentation and templates to streamline the application/claim process.
Liaison and Coordination:
- Act as a primary point of contact between TradeMalta and businesses seeking information and assistance on grants and incentives.
- Collaborate with government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate grant processing.
- Participate in networking events and local fairs to promote TradeMalta’s services.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in grant opportunities and international trade incentives.
- Provide feedback to senior management on ways to improve the grant application process.
- Contribute to the development of new grant programs and initiatives based on market needs.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in grant management or customer service is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about supporting local businesses and economic development.
