TradeMalta may appoint third-party multipliers in specific regions or markets to support the international business development of beneficiaries

Third-party multipliers bring significant advantages for businesses engaging in export activities. Their local knowledge, established networks, and ability to mitigate risks contribute to a smoother and more successful market entry.
Eligible Actions
- Commissioning of export readiness assessments.
- Market readiness reports and go to market strategies.
- Support for in-country B2B matchmaking, introductions and promotion.
- Purchase of lists of qualified contacts.
- Trade show support.
- Only third-party multipliers appointed and approved by TradeMalta will be recognised under this schedule.
- Undertakings may use the services of TradeMalta’s approved third-party multipliers in specific regions and be eligible for assistance as per Section 6.9 of the Guidelines provided below.
Funding
- Companies may still apply for financial support under TradeMalta’s other schemes, but funds allocated under this scheme will be deducted from the overall capping of Eur 30,000 in maximum assistance from TradeMalta to a single undertaking in one calendar year.
- Costs need to be approved by TradeMalta in advance.
Who can benefit?
- Companies seeking to expand internationally and who have already assessed the potential of a specific market can make use of this incentive to streamline the process of entering and growing in a new market.
- Eligible sectors are listed in the Guidelines in Section 3 pg. 10.
Applications
- Applications are to be submitted as per below through Submittable®. If you are using this portal for the first time, you will need to ‘Create your Account’ in Submittable®.
- Beneficiaries must forward TradeMalta a signed copy of the proposal or quote issued by the approved third-part multiplier.
