Expression of Interest – Business Mission to the United Kingdom | May 2026

TradeMalta invites Malta-based businesses to register their interest to join a trade mission to the United Kingdom, taking place between 25 and 29 May 2026.

This first trade mission of 2026 is being organised in collaboration with the Malta High Commission in the UK, the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Malta Enterprise, and the Gozo Business Chamber, and will include visits to Wales (Cardiff and Wrexham) and Liverpool.

This mission will provide participating Malta-based companies targeted meetings and high-level networking with key UK stakeholders, creating opportunities to enter new markets, strengthen existing relationships, and develop strategic partnerships within the UK market.

This trade mission will primarily, although not exclusively, focus on Malta-based enterprises operating in the following identified sectors:

  • High-end manufacturing, including the production of industrial components and ancillary goods across integrated supply chains
  • Renewable energy solutions
  • Information and Communication Technology with special emphasis on:
    • Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence
    • MedTech and digital health solutions
    • Game and custom software development
    • Digital marketing
  • Hotel Industry and Accommodation Sector, with particular emphasis on hotel operations, development and project execution
  • Gastronomy and Agri-Food Production Sectors, including value-added food processing, branded culinary products, and vertically integrated production models.


Interested parties are invited to e-mail TradeMalta on info@trademalta.org, by not later than Tuesday, 17th March 2026, at 5pm, including the following information:

  • The company’s track record in international business
  • Experience in, or preparedness for, doing business internationally, with special emphasis on the United Kingdom


Shortlisted companies may be eligible for financial assistance to partially cover the cost of participation in the business mission, through the International Trade Promotion Incentive Scheme, subject to applicable Terms & Conditions.

A non-refundable charge of €400 including VAT per company will apply. TradeMalta reserves the right to reject any application.
